REDUCE your slag consumption rate by 36% to 70% with Ebonygrit. Consumption rate is a measure of how much grit you need to cover a given surface area. It is usually expressed in pounds per square foot (#/sq.ft.). According to this study (1) conducted in the early 1990’s, you should obtain a minimum of a 36% improvement in consumption by using copper slag over coal slag, if you are blasting at 80PSI with 5 turns on the intake valve. This percentage amplifies at other pressure/valve combinations.
